No.5 in the Best Of 2003 Top 20

Does the name refer to penis size? Well, leaving that particular burning question aside for now, we should perhaps instead wonder how on earth anyone ever managed to get away with playing slap-bass in a hardcore band. Adequate 7, however, are no standard hardcore outift. Swiftly eclipsing Capdown in the British punk hero stakes, this stunning collection of politically astute firebombs sees A7 not only seamlessly combining funk with hardcore (think Minor Threat dancing with the Sugarhill Gang), but actually making it seem like the most natural sound in the world. Unquestionably the UK's best new band.
