Get on your feet, get off your arse and get a copy of this,

Mr Belding are a five piece from Exeter,
and they are definitely on to something with this
self released EP. Don't be put off by their
silly name, because although it makes them sound
like a sub standard ska-punk band it does not reflect
their music at all. In actual
fact they are difficult to pin down, but if I were
to try and do so I would place them as somewhere
between Iron Maiden and Bad Religion with a slice
of vintage Therapy? thrown in for good measure. That
doesn't really do them justice though because
with that description they sound a bit like an Avenged

Mr Belding are far away from that however, these
are honest songs, and thank God there isn't

by God, Kissed by Judas".
My personal highpoint of the cd is third song "Waiting
for Dusk", not least because it has a chorus
you could eat in one mouthful, but also for a perfectly
placed moment of cheesy guitar near the end, replete
with cow-bell.
The following two and a half songs ("Make it
Sexy for the Tabloids" is a 9 second Napalm
Death homage so doesn't count as a full song)
aren't
quite up to the goodness of the first three, but
still contain...
