rhythms, using the unavoidably awesome abilities of their drummer.
The
Icarus line, however, touring in support of second
album Penance Soiree, failed to beat the sound
in a very disappointing way. They didn't really seem
arsed to try to be honest. Although they've certainly
got some riffs up their sleeve, more often than not
the songs seemed pretty indistinguishably filler-like
and frontman Joe Cardamone may as well not have been
their for all he could be heard above the band. Some
excellent moments showed the band's undeniable
talent, but frankly it was mostly just painfully dull.
