Having wrestled this promo from the arms of a Serafin addict, I am now able to
inform all you good people that Three Children Of Fortune sound quite
a lot like Serafin.
And as far as I’m concerned,
this is a good thing.
I should probably write a bit more. Ok, then: This is wirey, bitter,
clangy post-Brit-grunge
with exceedingly good taste. More? Ok, it’s recorded at demo-level quality,
meaning the guitars sound like they’re made of tissue boxes and rubber
bands (down-tuned rubber bands, of course). This needs to be sorted out, because
musically they’re going for some nice Aerogramme-style lumbering, which
only works with a big fat sound. The b-side, “Flesh and Bone”, sounds
particularly like Serafin.
