Boykillboy are one of those bands. You know the type, inoffensive, danceable and catchy. Like The Killers. Or Razorlight. Unfortunately, Boykillboy are just as good as both.

Following their top 30 debut single and a headlining slot on the NME New Bands Tour 2006, Boykillboy seemingly have the world at their feet, or the UK at least, and it seems inevitable that this band will be huge. But to be fair, there are more deserving bands out there.

Boykillboy, come to think of it, sound exactly like The Killers. The track fidgets along before "exploding" into the ultra danceable, ultra sing-along-able chorus. The vocals are flat and irritating but unbelieveably catchy, the music is dull and uninspiring and the synths squelch along with the swagger of a slightly damp tramp. And while this does nothing to appease me, it should be a huge hit with the less-demanding among us. It's easy music, music that doesn't need to be listened to, but will implant itself indside your head for the rest of the week. For these reasons this single needs to destroyed, and quick. Before it becomes an epidemic.
