| From the first crap chord to the last… oh boy. |

If Humanzi’s ‘Diet Pills & Magazines’ had made my ears bleed, I would’ve been a much happier camper. Unfortunately for me, I had to sit through nearly four minutes of something akin to military jogging chants carved into a desk by an immature 17 year old who thinks he’s punk.
Somebody, please, bring back Black Flag, The Sex Pistols, The Misfits… anyone who could teach these four Dublin boys what it means to be in angry music. If you’re going to vent, why not be genuine and just say whatever comes off the top of your head? If that’s what these kids are doing, then whoever forgot to tell them to go back to the drawing board should be smacked on the nose with some rolled-up newspaper. No. Bad.
All in all, this single didn’t make me want to go out and smash up the local magazine stand, but it did make me zone out, which is what I hear diet pills do. |
