| Always one step ahead of the game, TinyVoices already knows all about Cannonball Jane, having reviewed her album Street Vernacular earlier in the year. Get a load of us! |

‘Take it to Fantastic’ is BRAND NEW MATERIAL, and what’s more sounds like it could be a proper hit given the right conditions, with its surf guitar, big brass stabs and “yeah yeah yeah” chorus.
Double A-side ‘Slumber Party’, which did appear on the album, is a more laidback, St Etienne-ish affair, and very cool it sounds too.
Take our advice and buy this single: it’s really an investment in looking smug in about six months’ time when everyone will be going mad about her. Look, we were right about the Go! Team, weren’t we? Yes, yes we were. |
