| The best songs provoke some kind of reaction, be it get up and dance, burst into tears, howl with laughter, storm the palace or bake some kind of special song-cake in celebration. |

It’s surely a damning indictment of Tiefschwarz, then, that I’ve spent the last five hours with Wait and See stuck on repeat and it’s yet to make an impression on me. I’ve followed the advice contained in the title of the song to the letter and quite frankly, reader, I have neither the time nor the inclination to wait and see any longer.
From what I can remember, it’s an accomplished, polished but unremarkable electro racket, which comes complete with no less than four pointless remixes, and on the face of it seems unlikely to strengthen Germany’s grip on the international pop market.
Buy the Melody Club single instead. |
