I'm not going to try and get your hopes up by saying this album from Imperial Vipers is a slow-burning classic, no! It would be malicious of me to even light the smallest spark of hope within you that Searching: Falling: Silence showed even the possibility of being half decent.
This record truly is awful. I suspect this is an attempt by Channel 4 (or some other post-modernist comedy purveyor) to take the least talented and most drunk band around and pass them off as the next rock n' roll champions. Everything about this album is completely dated, which I suppose may appeal to 40-year-old, out-of-touch metallers? But the lyrics really do take the biscuit for being very very crap, with 'Mercury Rising' probably the guiltiest.
I've listened to this CD three times now, which means I've wasted about 140 minutes of my life - more if you include the time taken to remove the disc from the box and put it in the machine. I demand that the Vipers reimburse me!
By now you're probably thinking that I don't like this record. You'd be right.
Comment what a load of rubbish you talk. Have you ever seen this band perform live? No I dont think so - they are much much better than most of the 'so called rock acts of today' You need to take a chill pill!!!!
No, I've never seen this band live. What has that got to do with reviewing an album? For every album you buy do you go and watch the band? You need to take an intelligence pill!!!
hey there..sorry to disappoint you but the Vipers are actually top notch..their from my home town and are actually genuine rockstars. and maybe you don't go see every band live but these guys rip the roof off the places they play and then sit down at the bar and have a drink with you after...a proper band, great album and legends to boot. stuart and will i guess you love Towers Of London pahaha
