| The credibility of the alternative Australian music to reach our shores has somewhat dipped of late. As quickly as bands such as The Vines and The Datsuns were lapped up by the indie masses, they were promptly spat back out again. Thankfully, we can now herald something of a mini resurgence. Bands like The Presets, Cut Copy and Midnight Jugganauts have become ever-present in the sets of many a DJ over here, and the Morning After Girls have decided they fancy a piece of the action too.... |

| There comes a time in every young person's life where a realisation kicks in. A time when we must loosen our hopeless grip on impressionable youth. So this is what it feels like to be out of touch. To no longer be down with the kids. Sure, I try. I mean, I own an iPod. Hell, I even dabble in a bit of MSN from time to time. But I will draw the line at Myspace, emoticons (?!) and Dirty Pretty Things.... |
